The UK’s largest digital retailer of fashion and lifestyle goods, Very Group, has extended its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in an effort “to accelerate retail innovation with generative AI.”
As part of the collaboration, Very will open a new “Gen AI Innovation Lab.” The lab will offer millions of consumers personalized and interesting digital shopping experiences by utilizing machine learning, generative AI, and storage capacities.
Very has already effectively implemented AI to enhance business operations by using it to organize stocks and forecast product demand. The availability of the goods has improved as a result. However, the new collaboration with AWS is a significant step in the right direction for implementing AI in the retail industry.
The lab will create new products and immersive solutions that will power digitally customized shopping experiences by fusing generative AI capabilities with Very’s retailing expertise and insights.
Very’s data teams will work together with experts from the freshly built $100 million AWS Generative AI Innovation Centre. AI experts will help with the introduction of new consumer experiences, the very secure large-scale deployment of generative AI, and the resolution of technical problems.
