The President of Egypt is considering proposals to modernize the textile sector

Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the president of Egypt, recently met with Moustafa Madbouly, the prime minister, and other ministers to discuss plans for modernizing the textile industry, including those about various stages of production, cotton cultivation, trade, and the development of processors and textile plants. He emphasized the necessity for the best possible use of state-owned resources.

The group also discussed using the best property owned by some public sector firms in the public interest by coordinating efforts between the housing and business sectors.

An official announcement stated that the goal is to maximize the value of national resources and positively contribute to initiatives to enhance holistic development.
