Dubai Fashion Week will showcase more than thirty global companies

Spring/Summer (SS) 2025 season’s Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) will take place from September 1–7, 2024 in Dubai Design District (d3), with a broader citywide events calendar. DFW will present ahead of New York Fashion Week and set the tone for the global fashion calendar.

Dubai Fashion Week, co-founded by the Arab Fashion Council, Dubai Design District (d3), a worldwide creative ecosystem by TECOM Group PJSC, and other partners, embodies the pinnacles of brilliance, foresight, and variety. Alongside globally recognized guest designers, over thirty businesses from France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Palestine, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom will present their streetwear and haute couture collections.

With forty invitation-only talks, private dinners, and collection launches hosted by international brands and key industry players, the event’s reach also encompasses the entire city. Dubai Fashion Week SS25’s first three days will be devoted to haute couture collections, offering a variety of upscale and intimate shopping experiences created in partnership with renowned stores. The final three days will feature ready-to-wear collections from well-known designers like Mrs. Keepa, Born in Exile, Alia Bastamam, April & Alex, Benang Jarum, BLSSD, Dima Ayad, Lama Jouni, Choice, Heaven Lights, Riva, Viva Vox, and Weinsanto. These collections are presented and backed by the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the organization that oversees Paris Fashion Week.

According to a press release from the organizer, the final day of the calendar will be devoted to private appointments and a buyers’ market.

The International Buyers Programme, which allows retailers all over the world to sign up for DFW’s Tier Benefits, is making its debut alongside prestigious runway shows and events. By enabling buyers to find talent through DFW and Dubai’s thriving fashion ecosystem, the program strengthens Dubai’s position as the de facto fashion hub of the region.

According to Khadija Al Bastaki, senior vice president of Dubai Design District (d3), a division of TECOM Group, “Dubai is the pulsating heart of fashion in the region, and Dubai Fashion Week is disseminating its rhythm globally.” “The designers and collections on our runway showcase the strong talent growing in our area and bring diversity to the global fashion conversation. For participating designers and buyers, DFW has opened up amazing opportunities, relationships, and global networks. With this latest edition, which has a new buyer’s platform, an enlarged space, more events, and an extended schedule of designers, we look forward to pushing the boundaries even further. Dubai Fashion Week will establish Dubai as one of the world’s fashion capitals and raise the standard for fashion brilliance once more.

“Establishing deep ties between international retailers and the creative designers Dubai Fashion Week presents is a major goal of our Buyers Program.” The platform’s value in the international arena is highlighted by the good reaction received from the fashion industry worldwide. The Arab Fashion Council’s chief strategy officer, Mohammed Aqra, stated, “We are dedicated to fostering possibilities for both retailers and designers in order to support the fashion ecosystem.
