Domino’s executive is hired by Nordstrom to lead human resources

Lisa Price has been appointed as Nordstrom’s new chief human resources officer, beginning November 6th.

Recruiting and succession planning, learning and development, recognition and retention, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and overall rewards are just a few of the human resources functions that Price will support in her new role, according to a press statement from the massive luxury department store chain.

Price formerly served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Domino’s Pizza, a position she held since August of this year. From 2015 to 2019, Price was a member of Nordstrom’s human resources department, serving most recently as senior vice president of human resources before joining Domino’s.

Erik Nordstrom, chief executive officer of Nordstrom, Inc., said of Lisa, “Lisa has nearly three decades of expertise driving and developing culture for major global organizations and prior experience working at Nordstrom. Lisa understands that the success of our business starts with our people.

Price exclaimed, “I am happy to be returning to the brilliant team at Nordstrom.

One month after Nordstrom announced numerous executive leadership changes in its merchandising and store organizations, Price was appointed.
