On March 28, Inter-textile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics will begin

The National Exhibition and Convention Center will host the spring edition of Inter-textile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics next week, welcoming up to 3,000 exhibitors and showcasing a variety of textiles and accessories (Shanghai). Several seminars, forums, and panel discussions will be hosted concurrently with the exhibition, which will run from March 28 to 30, to support business growth further.

“We anticipate that a post-pandemic retail recovery will continue to favor China’s textile and apparel market. The international reputation of Inter-textile Apparel has made our fair the perfect venue for foreign suppliers to connect with Chinese buyers. As a result, we are thrilled with the robust exhibitor turnout and anticipate a solid turnout of attendees. The sector expects a fruitful three days of business interchange, according to Wilmet Shea, general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK), who is looking forward to the exhibition the following week.

The exhibitor response has been strong across the board. Exhibitors from 22 nations and regions will be present at the exhibition in the International Hall (5.1), including Argentina, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK, and more.

International vendors offering similar goods and services will be grouped in zones like All About Sustainability, Functional Lab, Premium Wool Zone, and Verve for Design to improve sourcing efficiency. In addition to being divided into product-specific zones, the exhibitors in the International Hall will be grouped in pavilions representing Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. The fair’s substantial domestic contingent, converging on Shanghai from across China, will be organized by product end-use in halls 5.1, 6.1, 6.2, 7.1, 7.2, and 8.1.

The three-day trade show will run concurrently with a fringe program offering attendees more than 35 seminars, debates, and panel discussions to complement their visits, during which prominent business figures will discuss various themes.

According to a press release from Messe Frankfurt, events are grouped into four main categories that will shape the future of clothing: design and trends, sustainability concerns, technology and solutions, and market information and business strategies.

All registered buyers will have access to online networking services to increase global engagement and the onsite sourcing experience. About 200 onsite meetings are anticipated throughout the exhibition days thanks to Connect PLUS, the fair’s online business matching engine. Users may also schedule virtual appointments following the event. Primed to interact both at the fairground and online, exhibitors and buyers will get more opportunities to establish business connections and generate trade.

Shanghai is a popular visit for many foreign buyers because of the advantages of sourcing in person at the extensive textile expo. But, Inter-textile Apparel’s digital service platform Inter-textile Hub will enhance the fair’s online presence for participants who cannot attend. Livestreaming will be available for peripheral activities, including discussion sessions, product presentations, and exhibitor interviews.

Co-organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the Chinese Textile Information Centre is Inter-textile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition 2023. From March 28 to 30, it will co-occur at the National Exhibition and Convention Center with the Spring Edition of Inter-textile Shanghai Home Textiles, Yarn Expo Spring, CHIC, and PH Value (Shanghai).
