Mango unveils their ‘Lisa’ conversational generative AI platform

With the addition of “Lisa,” a cutting-edge generative AI tool for content creation and conversation, Mango, a fashion brand with headquarters in Barcelona, has continued its journey toward digital transformation.

Mango has been digitally transforming at a steady rate. The organization has already implemented over 15 artificial intelligence technologies across its entire value chain. One of them, called “Inspire,” focuses on creating graphics, particularly for the design department.

Streamlining processes is Lisa’s key objective, from the development of apparel lines through after-sale support. Its conversational interface, which is reminiscent of Chat GPT, uses both open-source models and private models that were designed expressly for Mango.

“Generative artificial intelligence is an expanded form of intelligence — a co-piloting technology that improves the capabilities of our stakeholders and employees.” Jordi Lex, head of technology, data, privacy, and security at Mango, made the statement.

The adoption of Lisa is consistent with Mango’s strategy of digitizing the company and adopting machine learning platforms (MLE) since 2018. The organization has launched projects like Gaud, which strives to suggest products to clients, and Iris, which runs in 60 countries, is available in more than 20 languages, and is primarily focused on improving customer service, in addition to the aforementioned “Inspire” initiative.
