Future Fabrics Expo 2023 in the United Kingdom will include sustainable fashion lectures

Future Fabrics Expo in London, UK, will have a lecture series to provide and amplify sustainable solutions for the fashion and textile industries on June 26-28, 2023. The lecture series runs concurrently with the materials sourcing showcase at the expo, which is the largest, dedicated exposition of sustainably sourced and ethically made textiles and technology.

The seminars allow visitors to participate in lively debates about essential topics such as environmental protection, sustainability, and innovative transformation within the fashion industry and non-profit organizations, according to a news release from The Sustainable Angle.

Nicole Rycroft and Valerie Langer of Canopy, the trailblazing NGO transforming the viscose supply chain; Sophia Kianni, founder of Climate Cardinals, who is championing climate information translation as the youngest UN advisor ever; Shilpa Yarlagadda of Shiffon Co, who is leveraging her jewelry brand to increase women’s access to venture capital funding; and founder Luke Haverhals of Natural Fibre Welding, a vanguard in the field of plastic-free material solutions.

Cyrill Gutsch, founder and CEO of Parley for the Oceans; Amy Congdon of Biofabricate, the leading expert in biomaterial education; Annabelle Hutter of Santis Textiles, who introduced the world’s first 100% recycled cotton; Bianca Pitt of SHE Changes Climate, championing gender inclusion in climate decision-making; and Cyndi Rhoades, founder of Worn Again Technologies and co-founder of Circle-8 Technologies, where she focuses on sorority.
