A protocol modifying the Preferential Commerce Agreement (PTA) between Azerbaijan and Turkiye was signed, demonstrating Azerbaijan’s confidence in the continued expansion of bilateral commerce. Turkiye’s clothing exports to Azerbaijan have increased significantly over the past five years, increasing by more than 150%, and its fabrics exports have also increased considerably. Turkiye is finding increasing success selling its textiles in Azerbaijan.
Mikayil Jabbarov, the minister of economy of Azerbaijan, tweeted that “the implementation of the document will give a further impetus for increasing the trade turnover with the brotherly country.”
