Energypac Fashions Limited, situated in Bangladesh, obtained the esteemed LEED Platinum accreditation

Bangladesh’s reputation as a leader in environmentally friendly manufacturing is further cemented by the recognition that yet another garment factory has received from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC)—the prestigious LEED Platinum accreditation.

Based in Hotapara, Gazipur, Energy Pac Fashions Limited has been awarded platinum ratings for its state-of-the-art facilities by the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

The BGMEA Director, Mohiuddin Rubel, hopes this achievement will draw further funding and collaborations, enhancing Bangladesh’s reputation as a leader in sustainable manufacturing worldwide.

Bangladesh continues demonstrating its commitment to environmental responsibility with its 207 LEED green factories, including 77 Platinum-rated and 116 Gold-rated facilities.

With 16 Platinum and 8 Gold ratings, 25 additional certified factories have been added to the recent increase in just the last six months.

This expansion highlights Bangladesh’s critical role in advancing the world’s leadership in producing environmentally friendly clothing.
