H&M and Coloreel have teamed up to transform the industry of personalized embroidery. The H&M Alexa store in Berlin recently changed its policy to let consumers customize their garments with a huge selection of expressive designs.
With this effort, H&Mbeyond officially launched a creative in-store test program. Customers have access to a library of designs that is updated weekly and is continually changing.
The embroidery revolution is being led by Coloreel, which provides a rainbow of colors at the touch of a button. Notably, this method combines recycled thread and reduces wastewater generation by an incredible 97%, marking a significant advancement toward more environmentally friendly manufacturing.
“Our partnership with Coloreel underscores our commitment to enhancing the shopping experience through innovative solutions,” Oliver Lange, Head of H&Mbeyond, emphasized. By embracing this cutting-edge technology, we can give our consumers an immersive and one-of-a-kind in-store experience.
By working together, H&M and Coloreel hope to investigate how to make interesting in-person shopping experiences as well as determine how disruptive technology like Coloreel’s may affect in-store purchases.
In a statement expressing satisfaction with the collaboration, Mattias Nordin, SVP of Product Management at Coloreel, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with H&M in ushering in a new era of personalized design. Together, we are redefining conventional embroidery and enabling clients to express their uniqueness.
