Using natural fibers, Transforming Textiles AB presents Sense-Tex technology

Transforming Textiles AB, a Swedish business, has unveiled Sense-Tex, a cutting-edge yarn and fabric technology that combines sustainability, utility, and style. With two conductors and three natural fibers, this five-fiber yarn-thread construction prioritizes environmental consciousness in textile technology. Sense-Tex lays the foundation for digital integration in textiles through the incorporation of sensor connectivity.

Leading the charge on behalf of Transforming Textiles, its creator and CEO, Sara Rosberg, Sense-Tex is celebrated as a symbol of sustainable fashion, providing a progressive approach to apparel that enables consumers to make meaningful statements with their choices.

Transforming Textiles AB aims to build a cutting-edge smart mechanical recycling facility by 2030 with an eye on the global market. The organization is committed to democratizing technological advancements such as Sense-Tex, guaranteeing accessibility without sacrificing health and safety because of budgetary limitations.

Marcelo Bolt, a space engineer, joined the business in 2021 as the Head of Technical Development after it was founded by Rosberg in December 2020. Transforming Textiles AB moved its headquarters to the IDEON Science Park/Innovation in Lund, Sweden, in September 2022 as part of the BUILD initiative. The business is in line with well-known NGOs like Friend of the Earth and Friend of the Sea in its unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability and preservation.

Their contributions include a variety of thread and fiber innovations, such as Silver fibers, SeaCell, SMARTCELL (a fiber based on zinc oxide), and Ramie (a fiber derived from plants).
