A letter of award for engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for Infinited Fiber Company’s circular Infinna fiber mill scheduled for construction in Kemi, Finland, has been signed by Rejlers Finland and Infinite Fiber Company.

According to a news statement from Infinite fiber, the plant will be situated on a former paper mill site with a manufacturing capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes of Infinna yearly, comparable to the thread needed to create around 100 million T-shirts.

Several of the top garment firms in the world are among the prospective factory’s clientele, and the majority of its future manufacturing capacity has already been fully booked for several years.

Since the February update, our effort to construct the first textile fiber mill using Infinna technology has advanced significantly. Another significant project milestone is signing the letter of the award with Rejlers for the supply of EPCM services, according to the press release.

“After careful deliberation, Rejlers was chosen as the EMPC partner for our €400 million flagship factory project. They are the perfect partner to help us establish the first Infinna fiber plant in the world, which is a crucial first step to scaling up our production capacity, thanks to their leading competence in completing challenging EPCM projects, according to Petri Alava, CEO of Infinite Fiber Company.

“We are excited to work together. This vast project’s circularity, new venture, use of current technology, and EPCM delivery are all appealing to us and consistent with our approach. The EPC and EPCM portfolio of Rejlers has grown significantly over the past few years, according to Mikko Vaahersalo, CEO of Rejlers Finland.
