Yarn Expo Autumn 2023 will bring over 100 exhibitors in this category to Hall 8.2 at the National Convention and Exhibition Centre (Shanghai) as a demonstration of the cotton yarn market’s expanding significance. August 28–30, 2023, will be the dates for the occasion.
Every product along the textile supply chain needs to be created with efficiency, performance, fashion, and sustainability in mind to solve the twin challenges of sustainable industry development and economic recovery. Of course, yarn is a crucial component since it serves as a bridge between fiber and fabric. Cotton is one of the most significant upstream raw resources for the textile industry. Its influence can be seen everywhere, from shirts worn by visitors from around the world to booths at major trade shows.
Pure cotton and cotton blend yarns are frequently used in the textile industry’s leading segment to create soft fabrics for adult clothing, infant clothing, and home items. The cotton yarn market is anticipated to nearly double in value between 2023 and 2032 as a result of the growth of the textile sector and favorable regulations in various nations and regions. The vendors at the fair’s Autumn edition are gearing up to satisfy the robust domestic and international demand, according to a news statement from the organizer. The overall yarn and fiber industry is also doing well.
Cotton yarn businesses make up around one-fifth of the entire floor area, which is 27,000 square meters, and have more than 500 unique booths. Highlighted exhibitors in this area with extensive organizational expertise include:
Vietnam’s Dong Khanh Textile Corporation – With yarn counts ranging from 16 to 45, the business manufactures a wide variety of high-quality cotton yarns, including carded, combed, open-end, and mixed yarn.
Indian company Jolly Spinners Private Limited – This ISO 9000-certified business works with 15 more gins across Gujarat state to produce cotton bales of the highest quality. All of the partners have received approval from Textile Mission for Cotton, and cutting-edge machinery is operated by knowledgeable, seasoned experts.
Indonesia’s Indo-Rama Synthetics – One of Asia’s top chemical firms, Indorama has its headquarters in Singapore. It produces a wide variety of goods, including textiles, cotton and synthetic spun yarns, polyester fiber, and cotton fiber.
With downstream producers in Colombia, Sri Lanka, and the US, Texvista International Pte Ltd (Singapore) spins high-quality fancy yarn with a focus on 100% cotton, polyester, polyester blends, and textured yarn.
Vitinex, a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, Vinatex is the head company of a group of reputable textile and apparel companies operating all across Vietnam. They specialize in spinning as a group, particularly with 100% cotton, TCD/TCM, CVCD/CVCM, and Ne 10–40.
Although eco-friendly, practical, high-quality, and trendy items are now more in demand, the Asia-Pacific region still holds a strong position in the worldwide yarn and fiber market. This is evident in the wide range of product and exhibitor categories at the expo, where buyers from China and other countries will assemble for the sourcing season. Major zones, which include chemical fiber, fancy yarn, linen & ramie, wool yarn, cashmere yarn, and abroad yarn in addition to cotton yarn, enable exhibitors to more easily satisfy the demands of the worldwide market.
Cotton yarns and fibers will be readily visible in both the Overseas Yarn zone and the booths of domestic exhibitors. Sandeep Goel, president, of textile divisions (yarn, textiles & home décor), Texvista International, stated in March at the spring edition, “We have visited Yarn Expo since 2005. We are trying to expand our business internationally and in China as a trading company with operations in more than 15 countries, and these fairs provide an excellent starting point. We are displaying a range of eco-friendly, recycled, and organic yarns in addition to cotton and colored yarns. We can see the market shifting in favor of these goods.
Yarn Expo Autumn will take place in conjunction with CHIC, PH Value, and Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition. The four fairs will bring together the knitted clothing, fashion, apparel textiles, and fiber and yarn sectors under one roof, maximizing the commercial potential for both consumers and exhibitors. Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, are responsible for organizing Yarn Expo Autumn.
