According to Andrew Peterson, president of FUZE Biotech, textile industries worldwide are progressively embracing technology to improve sustainability. The concept for using technology is usually consistent—cut expenses, enhance efficiency, and focus on a long-term, customer- and corporate-driven project.
Automation and better equipment, according to Peterson, are critical to decreasing pollution and water waste while enhancing the result. FUZE, a chemical-free permanent technology that can be applied to any surface or textile to prevent and defend against hazardous pathogens, mould, and infectious illnesses, is rapidly replacing chemicals used in textiles for almost 100 years with little change.
“FUZE is manufactured in ultra-pure water, shipped and stored in water, and applied without any other chemical or binding agent.” It outperforms other products on the market in wash testing by a factor of ten. It does not generate trash for remediation at the point of application, and more crucially, it does not generate a waste stream at home during laundry or concern for municipal waste treatment facilities,” Peterson explained in an exclusive interview with Fibre2Fashion.
